ready to launch - 11x11 inch darkroom print © 2010 by Bruce Hildesheim

With a finger on the button, do we really understand the implications of pushing it?

This photograph marks my departure from using common chemistry for both film development and darkroom printing.  Here, the film and darkroom print were processed entirely with a coffee based solution sometimes referred to as “caffenol.”  The many benefits include low toxicity and environmental impact along with a subtle warm, sepia tone.

Taken with a Rolleicord medium format camera creating a 6x6 cm film negative.
